This is the card to have for audio-for-video applications. The StudioCard 2000 has Windows 95/98/NT drivers for both Intel and DEC Alpha, dual simultaneous stereo record and playback, internal mixing and playback of up to eight stereo tracks (using the four physical ins and outs), multi-device capability and more. What differentiates the StudioCard 2000 from other high-end digital audio adapters is its post-production oriented features. StudioCard 2000 offers synchronization via SMPTE, MTC, word and pixel clocks, and composite video. Plus, the StudioCard not only reads SMPTE timecode, but generates it as well. StudioCard is compatible no matter what media you work with - film, video or MIDI.
StudioCard 2000 is compatible with the most popular DVE and digital audio applications and provides direct internal connections to most major video cards including Perception, TruVision, Matrox and others. The 20-bit A/D and D/A converters take full advantage of StudioCard 2000's multilayer board design and ground planning to bring incredibly clean, glitch-free sound to the most demanding digital video applications. The flexibility of four dedicated inputs and outputs means easy integration into any professional editing environment. StudioCard 2000 features the optional Antex Breakout Box to ease cable clutter and provide easy access to all analog and digital I/Os and clock and timecode connectors.
