Big Picture Portfolio
Hammerhead Interactive sells libraries of royalty-free images in the Kodak Photo-CD format. I received a CD called the "Best of the Best", which contains a sampling of 100 pictures culled from several of their titles. Available titles include Wild Animals, Spring Flowers, Lovely Ladies, Vermont Countrysides, Car Racing, Landmarks, Under the Sea, and other similar collections.

The images are stored in the .PCD format. The Kodak Photo CD Player is included, so you can view the images. Of course, you can also load them into any program that recognizes .PCD files, such as Adobe Photoshop or Corel Photo-Paint, and use them for your own purposes. You may use the images in any media you like, as long as you don't create anything scandalous or obscene, and as long as you don't give out the software itself.

The pictures are well chosen and nicely rendered. The images are sharp and the colors look good. If you need a library of digitized photos to use in printed media, presentations or whatever, its worth looking at the Big Picture.
