ActiveX refers to a family of Web development tools from Microsoft. ActiveX is all about adding interactive features to the Web. It includes new HTML tags, scripting, and techniques for integrating databases and multimedia with Web pages, as well as a conferencing system. This book discusses all the various aspects of ActiveX technology in detail, complete with plenty of examples.
