I have been trying some samples with JDBC driver, and I got Exception: netscape.security.AppletSecurityException: security.Couldn't connect to '151.207.221.12' with origin from 'local-classpath-classes'. I have some questions in the following order: 1.If Oracle Server is on an HP machine running UNIX, and I try to connect via NT-Client using Java, apart from IP-address of HP-machine, I need port number and username, password. I have all these, except that I am not sure how port number will be set up on the server? (I assume this can be done through Netscape Enterprise Server) 2. If I write some servlets, that will extract info from the database. Do Servlets also need a separate driver on the HP? If Yes, is the rest of the procedure same? If No, how is the connectivity achieved via Servlets?
